Diploma-Interest-Group DIG #914
Even as a SWL, I had earned so many diplomas that I was able to join the DIG in 1973.
At the DIG meeting 2024 in Königslutter, I was not only honored for 50 years of membership but also awarded the DIG-Trophy 1000, the highest award that can be achieved in the DIG.
After taking over the DIG circular editorial office in October, I have had the honor since March 2025 of being the 3rd secretary of the Diploma Interest Group , after Eberhard, DJ8OT, and Werner, DH1PAL.

I lived for almost a year on the North Sea (Büsum), almost five years on the Baltic Sea (Vogelsang-Grünholz/ Damp), and now for over 25 years on the River Elbe. That's reason enough to immediately sign on as a sailor with the DSW. Moin! Not unlike the DIG, but a little different!
We hold our DIG and DSW meetings alternately. After DIG (and DSW) 2025 in Albstadt-Ebingen comes DSW (and DIG) 2026 in Bremerhaven.
